TWO AMAZING HOLIDAY RECIPES

When the holidays roll around I think of a few different things: family, buying presents, getting a tree, putting up lights, going to holiday-themed events and, of course, cooking. And it’s this last point that I’m expanding on today in an effort to share two of my very favorite treats, both sweet and savory. These recipes have really earned their place around my (and other family members) table. Read on and just try to not get hungry!

1. CHEDDAR AND BACON MAC N’ CHEESE

Now most people think of cookies around this time of year, and I will indeed get to that…but before dessert you need something savory and filling. Look no further than this incredible Cheddar and Bacon Mac n’ Cheese featuring, you guessed it, Vintage Extra Sharp White Cheddar from local brand Tillamook Cheese®. Whether you’re looking to warm up from hanging lights outside or having family or friends over for a holiday meal, well, this dish will not disappoint.

And with most having a little extra time off around the holidays it’s a great time to create unique and memorable desserts. Well, not only is this snack/dessert memorable, it is quite easy. Check out this truly yummy Rice Chip Toffee that features as a core ingredient Sea Salt Rice Chips from NW brand Lundberg®.
